Who qualifies
- Indian entity engaged in manufacturing with a valid IEC and GST registration
- Importing inputs, capital goods or components used in your own manufacturing
- At least 2–3 years of import/export track record with filed customs documents
- Clean compliance record — no serious customs, GST or excise case pending
- Maintained books, inventory and record-keeping that can be traced import to production
- Internal controls covering cargo security, IT systems, HR and process documentation
Usually not eligible
- Pure traders or resellers with no manufacturing activity
- Entities with pending prosecution, duty evasion or repeated compliance defaults
- Units unable to reconcile imported inputs with finished goods records
