As per **DGFT Trade Notice No. 19/2026-27** issued on August 10, 2026, the system will now process EODC applications through a rule-based AI engine, significantly reducing the manual intervention previously required at Regional Authorities (RA). ## What this means for exporters Exporters who have fulfilled their export obligations can now upload their shipping bills and e-BRCs directly to the DGFT portal. The system will auto-verify the data against the Customs ICEGATE records. If the parameters match the authorization requirements, the EODC will be generated digitally within 24 hours. This removes the long-standing bottleneck of physical file verification and allows for faster redemption of bank guarantees and customs bonds.
